Second to the Liberty I tested positive for being an American 4th Of July shirt Apart from…,I will love this overall shallow materialistic trend, I’d say a lot of famous people are like all people except their personality traits are amplified tenfold for better and for worse, because they have the power and ability to act on the same impulses we all have. So the average Joe might say “if I owned the place I would come down hard on sexual harrassment/I would kick out immigrants” etc. but it would remain a virtuous/abominable thought. Famous people could actually execute their wishes. Whatever wonderful or awful idea they had would come to fruition, so everything was much more pronounced.

Another person who isn’t directly famous but is well-known among famous people (a behind-the-scenes, influencing famous people in big ways from backstage kind of guy) was similar. He did a lot of amazing things for me and also terrible things and I’m still trying to sort out if his effect on me was a net positive or negative. It was definitely a whirlwind of both good and bad and there was so much energy in it. My childhood made me realize I definitely don’t want to be famous, and much of what we think we know about famous people is illusion. When the media covered my mother’s life, they made up a lot. Out of thin air. Not even spins on the truth. Completely made up. For example they would say we played tennis together and took a picture of me holding a tennis racket with her like I was about to catch the ball. I’ve never been able to see a tennis ball or play any ball game in my life because of my visual impairment. I literally had to sit out in PE. Classmates and teachers would read the article or watch the TV episode and be jealous of a life that wasn’t even real.
