5) Finance- Well this Oilers and Elks Edmonton sport teams shirt and I love this is interesting part. yes one earns more than in India but then it is super expensive city and we may end up paying half of salary if living in city. Also we would be middle class always here as even our neighbor earns same money as we do. We are earning more when converting it in INR but what is its use if we can’t spend in India or say when we decide to we may be in 40s-50s. If we keep thinking about conversion of money then one cannot really go back ever as even after 10 or 15 years we many have same thoughts. 6) Festive celebration- Many will miss India badly in festive season. We miss aura of festivals as here it is celebrated not on D-day but over weekends. No beautiful Pandals in Durgapuja to see and also play dry Holi after its actual date is over or before. On Diwali weekend, we assemble at one place and see crackers in sky light up by someone else. 7) Transport- For work mostly public transport is used and it takes approx. one hour one way door to door if one lives in affordable suburbs. it will be quite expensive to live in city close to office.

TVs- Due to time difference, mostly Indian soaps or news will be delayed so not much excitement of live prime-time shows, understandable! 8) Education- It’s not competitive like Indian schools and much less pressure on students to compete as till 6th or 7th class they will have casual kind of exam. No school admission till age 6 , substandard Math or science compared to India. Compared to Indian convent students they may be 2-3 years behind knowledge-wise in case we want to go back to India later. Childcares are quite expensive too, Good schools are mainly located in expensive suburbs so one needs to adjust living in school zone.
